Advantages of Invisalign®

Invisalign® is a wonderful alternative treatment to braces for responsible teens as well as adults. There is no metal involved to impact your appearance. Instead, Invisalign® uses clear plastic trays (also known as aligners) to move your teeth into place. Each aligner is custom made to fit perfectly over your teeth, so you don’t have to worry about mouth irritation.

Patients choose Invisalign® for the convenience and freedom it offers compared to traditional braces. The aligners are removable, making them much easier to keep clean. You remove them when you eat and drink and when you brush and floss. No food restrictions & no extra effort on your part to keep your teeth in tip-top shape.

When you start your journey with Invisalign®, you receive a number of aligner trays at once, and Dr. Woodall will tell you how often you need to change them out (usually about every 2 weeks) to keep your treatment progressing according to plan. And the best thing is that you can change your aligners in the comfort of your own home.

A big advantage to Invisalign® treatment is the fact that the aligners are clear, so they are far less apparent when you open your mouth to speak or smile. This is great for patients who are hesitant to straighten their teeth because of the impact braces will have on their appearance.
