What are Specialty Dentures?
Specialty Dentures come in several different styles:
- full/partial
- conventional/immediate

Full dentures
Full dentures replace all the teeth of the upper or lower arch or both.
Partial dentures
Partial dentures only replace some teeth, for patients who still have healthy teeth remaining
Conventional dentures
Conventional dentures are fabricated after all unhealthy teeth have been removed and the gums and jawbone have healed. The process usually takes several weeks.
Immediate dentures
Immediate dentures are made ahead of time, and the patient can wear them the same day they have their teeth extracted.
Overdentures
Overdentures are placed over natural teeth or dental implants and are an excellent alternative to veneers, crowns, or implants. They are also be used to support other restorative treatments.
Upper dentures
Upper dentures are made specifically to fit the upper jaw.
Implant-Supported Dentures
Implant-Supported Dentures are attached to dental implants to make them sturdier and fit more securely. They can be either removeable or permanently fixed in place.
